LONDON - 24 DECEMBER 2001 - 3 JANUARY 2002

In 2001, I was fortunate enough to be able to take the trip of a lifetime...spending Christmas and New Year's in London with my dad. I'd been to London before, but getting to go there with my dad made it extra special, since I don't see him all that often.

The trip was fantastic! I fell in love with London and now feel so at home there. Kathryn, Jamie and Rosi are responsible for much of what made my trip so grand, and I am so thankful that I got to see them and do fun things. The weather also was a big influence...it was freezing (compared to California!), but I felt that the cold brought with it a genteel beauty. Winter is now my favourite travelling season, and I'm already working on a trip for this winter's break.

I took some pictures while I was in London, and while there aren't oodles of photographs, I thought they might be worth sharing. Some are pretty, some are personal, some are just funky. I also kept in touch with friends via my LiveJournal, and as that became the great chronicle of my trip, I have included the entries here...just click below.

Enjoy!

I want to see pictures!
