U.S. FIGURE SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS IN SPOKANE, WA
25-28 January 2007

I was going to do a more extensive blog for Nationals, similar to the one I did for Skate Canada, but when I sat down to write up a trip report, I just didn't have it in me. The weekend was phenomenal in many ways, but there are many memories I'd rather leave in the past. Kiss the future, right?

There are many people to thank for the high points of the weekend. They know who they are, so...THANK YOU!

I would like to give a shoutout to the city of Spokane for welcoming skaters and spectators with open arms and putting on such a great event, the Peacock Room for their delightful martinis, the Doubletree Coffee Shop for its trustworthy wireless access, and Brian Boitano, just 'cause.

And now for some photos, which are brought to you by Rite Aid and the word "BALLER."
