U2 SUMMER HOLIDAY Originally, my U2 Summer Holiday was supposed to be a trip to the UK and Ireland in 2001, to see U2 at Earl's Court and Slane Castle. That trip didn't happen for a few reasons. But how was I to know then that, in June 2003, I'd be going on a U2 Summer Holiday of a different sort? This U2 Summer Holiday did not involve any U2 concerts. It couldn't...they're not touring. But it did involve the U2 exhibit at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, some good friends, and my friends' band, EXIT, which played both the Cleveland Hard Rock Cafe and the Hall of Fame itself. EXIT was incredible. Saturday's gig was the greatest show I've ever seen them do (and I've seen plenty), and they have an extremely bright future ahead of them.
